50 grape leaves (canned)
Ground meat:
½ cup long grain rice
¼ cup olive oil
1 medium finely chopped onion
200-250 gr. finely chopped lamb meat
¼ cup finely chopped parsley
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon dried oregano
1 egg

Other Ingredients
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ glass of water
Рецепт
Cooking:
1. Place the grape leaves in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Let sit for 20 minutes, then rinse well and dry. Set aside all broken leaves separately, they will come in handy later.
2. Cook rice for 5 minutes in boiling water, drain the water.
3. Fry the onion in oil in a non-stick pan for 10 minutes. Add lamb meat and fry until tender. Turn off the heat, add rice and all other minced ingredients. Mix well.
4. Arrange 30 grape leaves on a dish or other surface, cut off the ends of each of them. Put a tablespoon of filling on each sheet and carefully wrap each sheet in an “envelope”.
5. Evenly cover the bottom of a large saucepan with 10 grape leaves (for example, from among those broken earlier). Put 30 "envelopes" there, seam down. Add oil, garlic, lemon juice and water. Top with the remaining 10 leaves and cover the pan with a lid. Bring the contents of the pot to a boil quickly, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 50 minutes. Finally, remove the lid and allow the dish to cool to room temperature. Serve with Tahini sauce or any other sauce you like.
