1. We will consider the main ingredients for the snack: sprat, salt and coriander. All other spices and seasonings are used at will and taste.
2. Before salting, the sprat must be thawed, and without fail rinsed in running water.
3. Coriander peas need to be ground in a mortar into powder. If you were unable to crush the seeds very finely, then leave it as it is.
4. Place the whole sprat in a bowl, season generously with salt and ground coriander. Mix well.
5. As mentioned above, sprats can be supplemented with other aromatic spices if desired. The prepared fish is placed under a small press for 10 hours and sent to a cool place. This will be enough for the sprat to be salted.
6. Salted sprat is ready. Serve home-salted sprat with cilantro leaves for a snack.
