I suggest you cook a very tasty Czech pastry from puff pastry - pundry. In fact, plundry are our same puffs with different fillings, but the origin and name of the Czech version of puffs is worthy of attention...
Translated into our language, "plundry" is translated as "fringed pies". There is another name for this pastry - "Pants". Why such a name, you ask. Yes, because long ago, in the 16th century, German soldiers wore rounded trousers under the knee, on top they had something in the form of folds, and it looked quite comical. These pants were called in German "plundergusen" - "pants with stuffing." This is where the plumes came from.
Previously, every Czech housewife cooked these pies from homemade dough with various fillings - sweet and savory. Now there is no need to spend time on kneading the dough, so I will prepare Czech plundry from ready-made puff pastry, but you can make puff yeast dough according to your proven recipe.
As a filling, I will have apples with nuts and breadcrumbs.
So, let's prepare all the products on the list. If your dough is frozen, like mine, you should first remove it from the freezer and thaw it. Apples can be taken in different varieties - sweet and sour, to get an excellent apple aroma and taste.

Ингредиенты
Puff pastry - 500 g
Apples - 250 g
Sugar - 100 g
Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
Breadcrumbs - 2 tbsp.
Walnuts - 50 g
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Egg - 1 pc.
Рецепт
1. Apples can be grated on a coarse grater or cut into small cubes, like me. Immediately add lemon juice to the apples and mix the apples well, this is necessary so that the apples do not darken.
2. Add regular sugar and vanilla sugar to apples. Adjust the amount of granulated sugar to your taste and how sweet or sour your apples are.
3. Add breadcrumbs and crushed walnuts in a mortar. Mix the stuffing well.
4. The size of the plunger can be different, I make large plungers, I got 10 of them at the end. Cut the dough into strips 15 cm long and 7-8 cm wide. Put the filling on one half of the strip.
5. Cover the filling with the second half of the dough.
6. Well, and now, in fact, the fringe, thanks to which the pies got their name. With a knife on one or two opposite sides we make a fringe, we simply pinch the rest of the edges.
7. Put the plungers on a baking sheet and grease the top with a beaten egg. We send the plungers to the oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 25-30 minutes. Keep an eye on the baking process so that the cakes don't brown too much.
8. Ready-made Czech plums are good both hot and cold. They can be served with tea and coffee.
9. We are very fond of plums with milk. Juicy fragrant filling, crispy dough - very tasty!
