Apples go well with such a berry in any preparation, but in addition to them, you just need to add a little sourness - citric acid or lemon juice, orange, especially if the apples are sweet! Apple - 1 pc.
Sea buckthorn - 150 g
Sugar - 7-8 tablespoons
Citric acid - 2 pinches
Mint - optional
Hot water - 650-700 ml

1. Wash the sea buckthorn berries in water. Cut the apple into quarters, freeing them from the seeds. Also rinse in water.
2. We will wash the container we need and fill it with sea buckthorn berries, and cut the quarters of apples into slices there.
3. Boil water and pour it into the jar to the top, placing the container on a knife or spatula so that it does not burst from the temperature difference. Cover with a tin lid and wait 20 minutes for all the contents to steam properly.
4. Pour sugar and citric acid into the pan. At the same stage, we can add a couple of stalks or leaves of fresh mint to it, removing them after boiling, so that they give up their aroma.
5. Change the lid on the jar to drain and pour the liquid into the pan. Place the pot on the stove. Let's boil the syrup.
6. Pour it back into the jar to the top and immediately cover the container with a hot lid, rolling it up with a conservation key. Let's check the workpiece for leaks and let it cool at room temperature, and then take it to the closet. Sea buckthorn and apple compote is ready for the winter.
7. When opening the compote, it can be warmed up and served as tea - your choice. The taste of the drink is velvety and unusually aromatic.
