Pork chops in a pan

For the preparation of pork chops, meat from almost any place of the cut, chilled or thawed, is suitable. For example, from relatively budget options - this is a ham or shoulder blade.

As a breading, I suggest a crumb of white bread or a long loaf mixed with chopped garlic. Chops in egg batter and breading are more convenient to fry in a pan. The meat, even defrosted, is juicy and soft. Since such fried pork chops are far from a dietary dish, prepare stewed or fresh vegetables as a side dish for them.

To cook delicious juicy pork chops in a pan, prepare the ingredients according to the list. Pork flesh should be cut into slices across the grain and about 1 cm thick.

Pork pulp - 800 g

Cream or milk - 0.5 cup

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Flour - for breading up to 0.5 cups

Breadcrumbs - 1-1.5 cups

Garlic - 2-3 cloves

Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.

Salt - to taste

1. Lay the pork slices on a flat surface in a single layer. Cover them with cling film and beat off on both sides.

2. Place the chopped pork chunks in a bowl of cream or milk.

3. Breadcrumbs can be bought ready-made, or you can cook it yourself from dried pieces of white bread or a long loaf. It is not at all difficult to roll out manually, or rather, crush them with a rolling pin. Add chopped garlic and a little salt to the breadcrumbs.

4. For the egg batter, stir the eggs in a suitable sized bowl. In a separate dish, pour a thin layer of flour.

5. The order of cooking pork chops is as follows. Remove the piece of pork from the cream (or milk) and first dip it into the egg mass, then into the flour, then again into the egg mass, then into the fragrant breadcrumbs. A frying pan with heated vegetable oil should already be ready and the prepared chop billet is sent for frying.

6. Fry the pork chops in a pan on both sides, about three minutes each, but the time depends on the thickness of the meat of the chops and the frying temperature. Before frying the next chops, remove the remnants of flour and breading left over from the previous ones with a napkin. Add oil if necessary.

7. Pork chops cooked in a pan are ready. Serve them right away.
