According to the classic recipe, French meat is cooked in the oven.

I want to offer you my version of cooking French chicken in a pan. This cooking method makes the meat juicy and tender, and the dish itself is less harmful due to the fact that I use fresh tomatoes instead of mayonnaise. To prepare chicken fillet in French, we will use the following products: chicken breasts, vegetable oil, potatoes, tomatoes, salt and spices, hard cheese and onions.

Chicken fillet - 350 g
Potatoes - 5 pcs.
Tomatoes - 3 pcs.
Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.
Salt and seasoning for meat - to taste
Onion - 200 g
Hard cheese - 150 g

1. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces, about 1 centimeter thick. Fry the chicken in vegetable oil until golden brown.
2. Cut the onion into half rings, add to the fillet.
3. Slice thinly peeled potatoes, 3-4 mm thick, add to the pan.
4. Salt and season the dish with spices to taste, mix.
5. Cook covered over low heat for 10 minutes.
6. Then add the sliced tomatoes.
7. And sprinkle with grated cheese.
8. Continue to cook over low heat, covered, for another 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
9. Our chicken fillet in French is ready. Serve hot.
