I really like this dish of Ukrainian cuisine. As far as I know, earlier cabbage soup was prepared only from sauerkraut, but now they are completely replacing it with white cabbage and even Beijing cabbage.
I offer a fairly dietary option for preparing a delicious and hearty soup. We will cook on chicken broth and with white cabbage. Tomatoes add a special flavor to the soup.

Chicken broth - 2-2.5 l
Potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
Onion - 1 pc.
Carrot - 1 pc.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Millet groats - 5 tbsp.
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Bay leaf - 1 pc.
Salt - to taste
White cabbage - 400 g

1. Put coarsely chopped potatoes into the broth and cook until the potatoes are ready.
2. In the meantime, let's prepare the dressing. Fry onions, carrots and garlic in sunflower oil, add tomato paste. We mix.
3. Chop the cabbage with a food processor.
4. In the meantime, the potatoes are cooked. We take it out of the broth and knead it. I like the potatoes to be mashed, not mashed, so that small pieces come across. You do as you please. Set the mashed potatoes aside.
5. Then put the cabbage and washed millet into the pan. Cook until millet is ready.
6. When the millet is ready, add crushed potatoes and dressing, bay leaf to the pan. Let's boil for a couple of minutes. At the very end, salt to taste.
7. If desired, chopped greens can be added to the finished cabbage. Cabbage on chicken broth with tomato is ready. Let it cool down a bit and serve.
