I am a big fan of liqueurs, I often cook them at home. For some time now, pomegranate liqueur has become my biggest favorite.

Despite the fact that this fruit is not local, it only takes a couple of pieces to make a liqueur, so I can’t even say that this liqueur is an expensive pleasure. The liquor turns out to be rich, bright, fragrant and very tender, with the presence of a slight astringency inherent in pomegranate.
To prepare pomegranate liqueur, we need: pomegranates, sugar, vodka and a few days of patience.

Pomegranates - 500 g
Sugar - 300 g
Vodka - 500 ml

1. To begin with, we will get all the seeds from the pomegranates.
2. Take a glass 2-liter jar. Pour pomegranate seeds into it.
3. Add sugar.
4. Fill everything with vodka.
5. We close the jar hermetically with a lid and send this same jar for 10 days to a dark (this is important) cool place. Shake the jar every day so that the sugar dissolves quickly.
6. After 10 days, open the jar and filter its contents through a strainer, putting gauze folded in several layers into it.
7. Pour the finished pomegranate liqueur into bottles or decanters and enjoy the liquor. We drink it in small doses and slowly, stretching the pleasure.
