I think many people immediately guessed that the theme of cake pops is played up in this way, only snack pops are snacks on a stick (depending on the size, you can use both toothpicks and wooden skewers cut into pieces for shish kebab).

A lot of traditional, but larger snacks, both hot and cold, can be turned into snack pops, absolutely not necessarily from puff pastry and in the form of a roll. But such rolls of puff pastry with ham are simply made very easily, and at the same time they look very impressive.

Well, besides, they are very convenient and practical for buffet table serving with a crowd of people. You can make similar rolls with other products (sausage, red fish). In my opinion, it’s better not to mess with cheese - it spreads unpredictably, it often turns out ugly, and for small forms in the world of snacks, aesthetics are still very important.

Puff pastry - 150 g

Ham - 70 g

1. Cut out more or less rectangular pieces from the ham.

2. We set the oven to warm up to 200 C with air circulation. We spread the ham with a continuous surface over the puff pastry, cut off a piece from it so that it is 1 cm wider than the strip of ham.

3. Helping ourselves with paper, roll up a roll of puff pastry with ham. We seal it with the left free edge of the dough, it should be outside, and not inside the roll.

4. With a sharp knife, cut the roll into washers 1-1.5 cm thick. It is convenient to use one washer as a model for cutting off the rest.

5. We fix the rolls with ham on toothpicks, like lollipops, and lay them on a baking sheet on top of confectionery paper so that the pieces of dough do not touch each other.

6. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C with air circulation at an average level for 15 minutes.

7. Puff pastry rolls with ham can be eaten both hot and cold.
