Chinese cabbage and ham salad is one of my favorite salads because it does not require additional time to pre-boil the ingredients. Almost all the products that make up the salad are usually in the refrigerator, all we need is just to cut and season them correctly.
I classify this salad as a "winter" salad, because it is in winter that Beijing cabbage is much cheaper than other leafy salads. I cook it on one of the days of the New Year holidays, because the salad is both hearty and fresh.
We will prepare all the products according to the list. You can take any ham: pork, chicken, turkey. Beijing cabbage choose greener and fresher.
Salad with Chinese cabbage and ham

Beijing cabbage - 1 fork
Ham - 150 g
Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.
Fresh cucumber - 1 pc.
Canned corn - 200 g
Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp.
Salt and ground black pepper - to taste

1. Remove the top leaves from a fork of Chinese cabbage. Cut the fork into 4 pieces lengthwise and finely chop each. Place the chopped chinese cabbage in a bowl.
2. Peel the Bulgarian pepper from the seeds and cut off the stalk. Cut the pepper into small cubes. Wash the cucumber, pat dry with paper towels and cut into quarters.
3. Put peppers and cucumbers in a bowl with cabbage.
4. Cut the ham into cubes or large strips.
5. Transfer the ham to the rest of the ingredients.
6. Drain liquid from canned corn, place corn in a bowl.
7. Use mayonnaise as a dressing, add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix all salad ingredients well. Let the salad rest for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
8. Transfer the salad to a salad bowl and serve, garnished with parsley or dill.
