Morse from chokeberry

Morse is a wonderful and healthy drink, known for a long time. Subject to the cooking technology, all vitamins are preserved, since it does not boil. Any berries are suitable for fruit drinks (lingonberries, cherries, strawberries, etc.), including chokeberry. Morse from chokeberry turns out to be very fragrant, with a tart taste, sugar is put to a minimum, since chokeberry is a rather sweet berry. Morse is better to drink chilled, if there is no time, then you can put a few ice cubes in the decanter.

The word "mors" has Byzantine roots, where water with honey was called mursa. So "mursa" was transformed into the "mors" known to us.

Chokeberry - 300 g

Sugar - 2-3 tablespoons

Water - 350 ml

1. For fruit drink, sort out the chokeberry, cut off the branches and wash well.

2. Place in a blender and puree until smooth. Chokeberry is a berry with thick pulp, so you can add 3-4 tablespoons of water to the blender.

3. It turns out such a thick puree.

4. Add boiled, spring or tap water to the berry puree.

5. Strain chokeberry juice through a strainer to get rid of flakes of pulp and skins.

6. In the resulting fruit drink, add sugar to taste, mix until completely dissolved and put in the refrigerator to cool.
