Fritters on the water without eggs and yeast

There are so many recipes for pancakes that it’s impossible to list them. They are prepared from milk, kefir, fermented baked milk or other dairy products. To make them fluffy, soda, baking powder or yeast are added to the dough. Eggs also play an important role in the preparation of pancakes.

Today I wanted to go against the rules, and I made pancakes on the water without eggs and yeast. So that they have a porous structure, I added a little baking powder to the dough. I have to say, it turned out really well. The pancakes came out tasty and ruddy, however, they were fried a little longer than usual. These pancakes should be served hot with jam, honey or condensed milk. Be sure to try it, such a simple set of ingredients can make a delicious hearty breakfast.

Ингредиенты

Wheat flour - 200 g

Baking powder - 1 tsp with a slide

Sunflower oil - 1 tbsp. and for frying

Sugar - 1 tbsp

Salt - 1 pinch

Water - 250 ml

1. Pour water at room temperature into a bowl. Add sugar and a pinch of salt, stir well to dissolve the crystals. Then pour in sunflower oil.

2. Pour the sifted flour with baking powder.

3. Stir the dough thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Leave for 10-15 minutes to "rest". It will be quite thick in consistency.

4. With a tablespoon dipped in cold water, spread the dough into a pan heated with a small amount of vegetable oil, forming pancakes.

5. Fry the pancakes over low heat on both sides until golden brown. Fritters on water without eggs and yeast are fried a little longer than usual, since the structure of the dough is denser. Place cooked pancakes on paper towel to remove excess oil.
