Ингредиенты

Curd - 500 g

Butter - 50 g + for serving

Egg - 1 pc.

Banana - 200 g (2 pcs.)

Wheat flour - 300 g + for working with dough

Salt - 1 pinch (optional)

Sugar - 1-2 tbsp.

Vanilla sugar - 10 g

Sour cream - for serving

For cooking:

Water - 2 l

Salt - 1 tsp

Рецепт

1. Mash the cottage cheese with a pestle or a potato masher until smooth and creamy.

2. Mix the egg with sugar and vanilla and beat for several minutes until the sugar grains dissolve.

3. Mash bananas with a fork until pureed.

4. Add banana puree, beaten egg with sugar and room temperature butter to the prepared cottage cheese. Mix the ingredients. If desired, add a pinch of salt to the mixture.

5. Gradually, adding in portions, mix wheat flour into the curd mixture and form a ball of soft dough. Transfer the dough to the table, and adding flour, knead for 4-5 minutes.

Then cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for 15 minutes.

6. For the convenience of further work, divide the dough into 3-4 servings.

7. In order to give lazy dumplings a traditional rectangular shape, roll the dough into a sausage with a diameter of 2 centimeters, and then cut into strips 1.5-2 centimeters wide.

8. Also, for a change, you can cook lazy rhombus-shaped dumplings. To do this, roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5 centimeters and cut into pieces no larger than a matchbox.

9. Then, with a knife blade, carefully, without cutting through the dough, draw a pattern on the surface of the dough pieces.

10. Bring water to a boil in a wide saucepan. When the water comes to a boil, add salt and reduce the heat so that the water is constantly simmering. Swirl the water in a saucepan in a circle and lower the dumplings into the resulting funnel. The movement of water will carry the dumplings with it, they will be evenly distributed in the pan and will not stick together.

11. Boil lazy dumplings for 3 minutes from the moment when the water boils and they float to the surface.

12. Grease the finished dumplings with melted butter and serve with sour cream, honey or your favorite syrup. I love pairing these dumplings with homemade caramel sauce.

13. Lazy banana dumplings are ready. Bon appetit!
