I love chicken heart dishes. They can be used to make a salad or barbecue, add to vegetables or cook in a sauce and serve with your favorite side dish. Hearts are cooked very quickly, thereby saving valuable time for housewives.
One of my favorite options for cooking chicken hearts is barbecue. I have access to the brazier all year round and therefore I often spoil my relatives with barbecue not only from meat and chicken, but also from chicken hearts. I want to share a recipe for cooking tomato marinade and barbecue chicken hearts in tomato sauce on the grill.

Chicken hearts - 700 g
Olive oil - 3 tbsp
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Soy sauce - 1 tbsp.
Italian herbs - 1 tsp
Salt - 0.5 tsp

1. First you need to prepare the marinade. Pour soy sauce and olive oil into a deep plate, add tomato paste, salt, herbs. Tomato paste is better to use thick and rich. Herbs can be replaced with any seasoning of your choice.
2. Mix everything well with a spoon until smooth.
3. Wash chicken hearts under running water. Cut off excess fat and blood vessels. Throw the hearts into a colander to drain excess liquid.
4. Put the hearts in a deep bowl. Pour them with tomato marinade. Mix well. I do it with my hands, as if rubbing the marinade into the hearts. Then press the hearts in the marinade with oppression and put the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, and if time allows, then more is possible.
5. To cook barbecue chicken hearts on the grill, it is better to use wooden skewers. To do this, pre-soak the skewers in cold water for at least 30 minutes. Then take out the skewers and place them on a paper towel to remove excess water. Get the hearts out of the refrigerator, remove the oppression. Piercing hearts along the entire length, put them on skewers. Coal in advance to prepare and remove the fire.
6. Put the hearts on the grill. Fry them on one side for 8 minutes, then carefully flip over and fry on the other side for 8 minutes.
