For a long time, cheese cakes with a filling, or rather, a spread of ketchup and chopped aromatic herbs, and simply with aromatic herbs, have taken root in our menu.
Cheese cakes cooked in the oven are suitable for almost any first and second courses as bread, they are very convenient to take with you on a picnic or on the road. Flat cakes can be the basis of snacks like sandwiches.

Water - 150 ml
Cheese - 100 g
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. (optional)
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Ketchup - to taste

1. In the flour, mixed with baking powder, pour almost boiling water while stirring and mix. If desired, add vegetable oil to boiling water before this.
2. Add grated cheese.
3. Mix thoroughly, but not with your hands, because. mass is very hot.
4. When the dough is tolerable to the touch, knead by hand until smooth and allow to cool completely.
5. Divide the dough into 6-9 equal pieces, depending on what size and how many cakes you want to get.
6. Roll each piece of dough into an oval blank with a thickness slightly less than 1 cm. In principle, such blanks can already be baked in the oven.
7. But I advise you to try different options: grease the surface with tomato sauce or ketchup, sprinkle with a little grated cheese, sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs, as well as a combination of these options.
8. Bake tortillas with cheese in the oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes.
