There are several ways to make orange liqueur. The most common is the recipe for making this drink from only one orange peel. But the liqueur recipe presented here with the addition of orange syrup, brewed from the pulp of an orange, gives this drink a special taste and sophistication.

Sugar - 300 grams;
Water - 100 ml.

1. To prepare the liquor, you need to take good quality vodka, fresh oranges, sugar and water.
2. Remove the peels from oranges and remove the white subcortical layer from them.
3. Finely chop the zest.
4. Put the zest in a jar, pour vodka and keep under the lid for a day.
5. Remove white films from the orange slices, and cut the pulp into small pieces.
6. Pour the pulp with sugar, mix and leave also for a day.
7. Add water to the extracted juice, put the container with the pulp on the fire and boil for 20 minutes, removing the foam.
8. Put the hot mass on a sieve and, pressing with a spoon, separate the syrup.
9. Combine the infusion of zest and orange syrup.
10. Keep the liquor under the lid for 10 days and strain through several layers of moistened and well-wrung gauze. If the color of the liquor is pale, then the drink can be tinted with burnt sugar.
