For meatballs, you need to mix minced meat and rice, cooked until half cooked. Then quickly fry (to keep the shape). And stew in a filling of tomato sauce with cream. Meatballs are very tender and juicy. And the creamy tomato sauce pairs perfectly with them.

Minced meat - 600 g

Rice cooked - 2/3 cup

Cream - 1-1.5 cups

Cheese - 50-80 g

Garlic - 1 clove

Starch - 1 tsp

Provence herbs - to taste

Salt - to taste

1. Prepare minced meat from pork (shoulder, ham) and chicken (breast), add salt and garlic to it.

2. Cook the rice until cooked or half cooked.

3. Mix rice with minced meat and aromatic herbs.

4. Form round meatballs.

5. To prepare a creamy sauce, combine cream with 2/3 of grated cheese, aromatic herbs and, if desired, you can add another 1 teaspoon of starch.

Option 1:

Place the meatballs in a greased dish, pour over the cream sauce and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Option 2:

Meatballs in a greased form, first bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, and then pour the sauce and continue baking.

Option 3:

Cook meatballs in a slow cooker on the "baking" mode.

7. Sprinkle the finished hot meatballs with the remaining grated cheese.

8. Meatballs in creamy sauce are ready. Very tasty meatballs with mashed potatoes.
