Mussels with tomatoes and garlic

Today we will cook mussels with tomatoes and garlic.

Mussels with tomatoes and garlic are quite simple to prepare, but at the same time it is a very tasty dish that can be prepared both for a date and for a festive table.

This dish can be prepared both from fresh mussels and with boiled-frozen ones.

If any shells do not open during the cooking process, then they must be discarded.

Ингредиенты

Butter - 2 tbsp.

Onion - 1 pc.

Canned tomatoes - 400 gr

White dry wine - 120 ml

Mussels - 900 gr, peeled

Freshly chopped parsley - 2 tbsp. + for decoration

Freshly ground black pepper

Рецепт

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until golden, 5 minutes, then add chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute more.

2. Add chopped tomatoes, wine and parsley and mix until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Add mussels and cook until all shells open. (Discard any unopened shells.)

4. Garnish with parsley and serve with toasted bread.
