Fettuccine Alfredo

Today we are preparing Fettuccine Alfredo according to a very simple and delicious recipe.

The recipe is very easy to remember: half a glass of butter, cheese and cream is all you need to make this delicious sauce.

(Well, plus a little water for the pasta, but that doesn't count.)

Fettuccine - 450 gr

Heavy cream - ½ tbsp.

Butter - 50 gr.

Chopped parsley - 2 tbsp.

Freshly grated parmesan - ½ tbsp. + a little more for sprinkling

Freshly ground black pepper

1. Pour water into a large saucepan, bring to a boil, salt and boil the pasta in accordance with the instructions on the package. When ready, separate about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the remaining water.

2. While the pasta is cooking, put the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat, after melting, add the cream. Cook until cream bubbles. Stir in Parmesan and season with salt and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes to thicken slightly. The sauce will still be thin, but will thicken even more as the sauce cools and after adding the pasta.

3. Add the cooked fettuccine and stir until they are coated in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add some of the reserved pasta water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
