The taste of even the most ordinary tea is transformed by adding additional ingredients to it. Iced tea with different flavors will perfectly quench your thirst in the heat.

If you are a tea lover, and even in the heat you are not ready to look for a replacement for your favorite drink, prepare ice tea - iced tea. From the usual oolong or hibiscus, it will differ only in temperature. We offer several simple recipes for a refreshing drink:

Ice tea with lemon

To prepare a drink for 4 people, take 4 bags of any tea, 1 liter. boiling water, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 1 lemon, 16 ice cubes (4 per glass).

Put tea bags in a convenient container, pour boiling water and leave to brew for 10 minutes. Then squeeze lemon juice into tea and add sugar. When brewed, add ice. When serving, put ice in a glass, and then pour tea. For beauty, you can add a slice of lemon to the drink.

Pomegranate hibiscus

For four glasses of such ice tea, you need to take 4 tbsp. hibiscus, 1 pomegranate, sprig of mint, a liter of water and 16 ice cubes.

Put the hibiscus in a saucepan, cover with boiling water and brew for 8 minutes. At this time, clean the pomegranate, setting aside a small part of the grains, they will be needed to serve the drink. The rest needs to be crushed. Add crushed pomegranate and mint to the hibiscus, let it brew for 10 minutes. Then strain and leave the drink to cool slightly. Before serving, put ice in a glass, pour tea and garnish with pomegranate seeds.

Peach-thyme

Prepare the ingredients for 4 servings of the drink: 4 green tea bags, a liter of water, 8 tablespoons of sugar, 3-4 peaches, a bunch of thyme, 1 lemon and 16 ice cubes.

Place tea bags in a saucepan, cover with cold water, squeeze lemon juice into it, add half the sugar and thyme. Place the resulting mixture in the refrigerator and leave overnight. Cut the peaches in half, reserving half of one for serving. Mash the rest of the pulp with sugar until smooth. Add peaches to tea and leave for 10 minutes. Pass the infused drink through a sieve. Cut the remaining half of the fruit into 4 pieces. Before serving, put ice in a glass, a piece of peach, and pour tea on top.

Carnation and barberry

This drink is similar to the traditional ice tee with lemon, but slightly improved. To prepare, you will need 4 tea bags, a liter of water, 1 lemon, 7 pcs. carnations, 10 pcs. barberry, 2 sprigs of mint, 4 tablespoons of sugar.

Put a pot of water on a high heat and immediately add the barberry, cloves and mint stems - leave the leaves to decorate the drink. After heating the water, put the tea bags in a container and boil everything for 8 minutes. Then add sugar. Remove liquid from heat, squeeze lemon and let cool. Before serving, put ice, lemon slices and mint leaves in glasses, pour tea on top.
