Making iced tea at home during hot weather is as easy as shelling pears. Moreover, almost all fruits and herbs are combined with it.
One of the most delicious homemade drinks can be considered cold tea based on peach and thyme.
To do this, you need up to five bags of green tea, about a liter of water, up to eight teaspoons of sugar, one or two lemons, a small bunch of thyme and several ice cubes per glass.
First of all, put tea bags in a saucepan and fill with cold water. Squeeze lemon juice there, add thyme and sugar.
To give the thyme a greater taste, you should first rub it in your hands. After adding the tea, put it in the refrigerator overnight.
In the morning, divide the peach in half, leave one part for serving, knead the other with sugar with a regular fork, add to the drink, mix thoroughly, and leave to stand for ten minutes.
Then we carefully filter it to get rid of large remnants of peach and thyme. Otherwise, they will interfere with tea drinking.
Then we put the remaining piece of peach in the drink for taste and ice. Can be served at the table. By the way, the amount of ingredients is designed for four servings.
