I would like to offer a great option for breakfast or a snack between meals - you can make very tasty puff pastry from ready-made puff pastry, fill them with a delicate filling of cream cheese, and put your favorite berries on top. It turns out very tasty.

Let's prepare the necessary ingredients for puff pastry with cream cheese and berries. Defrost the puff pastry in advance. If you have frozen berries, you should defrost them in advance.

Ready-made puff pastry - 400 g

Curd cheese - 150 g

Icing sugar - 3 tbsp

Pitted cherries (I have frozen) - to taste

Egg - 1 pc.

1. Roll out the dough a little and cut into equal squares - I got 6 pieces. Cut strips no more than 1 cm wide along the edges of each square of dough.

2. Place a square of dough on the work surface, grease the entire surface with beaten egg, using a silicone brush. Place strips of dough along the edges of the square, pressing a little so that they hold better. In this way, prepare blanks from all the remaining dough.

3. Place the prepared blanks of the future puff pastries on a baking sheet covered with baking parchment, and prick each with a fork. Send to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

4. Place all the curd cheese in a bowl, add powdered sugar.

5. Beat the ingredients with a mixer until creamy.

6. Cool the finished puff pastries completely and put the cream cheese filling in the cavity of each, leveling it with a spoon. Put berries on top to taste - I used defrosted cherries.

7. The cream cheese and berry puff pastries are ready. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
