Blue Cheese Butter

Blue cheese butter or blue cheese butter sauce is easy to make and goes well with a variety of dishes.

The simplest is the base for sandwiches, bruschetta or galettes and similar snacks. More original - in potatoes or other vegetables, with spaghetti, on beef steaks and for meat or chicken cutlets, in addition, it is also suitable for fish. Fans add millet or buckwheat to porridge... I also plan to accompany a vegetable galette with a piece of butter and blue cheese!

Ингредиенты

Butter – 100 g

Blue cheese – 70-100 g

Additionally (and/or):

Garlic

Hot pepper

Allspice

Parsley

Рецепт

1. Let the butter soften a little at room temperature for 15 minutes. Break the blue cheese into pieces or grate it and also let it sit at room temperature.

2. This will make it easier to mix them together. It is convenient to do this using a blender with knives in a bowl, using a whisk or an immersion nozzle, but you can also rub it by hand with a fork or spatula.

3. If you planned to add additional ingredients, then mix them in as well: chopped garlic, ground hot, allspice and/or fresh chopped parsley.

4. Accompanied regular millet porridge with this cheese butter.

5. For long-term storage, place a portion of the butter in a container suitable for freezing food, or form a bar, bars or "sausage" of a small diameter, which you wrap in foil or cling paper. Store in the freezer. You can add either defrosted or frozen blue cheese butter to hot dishes (steak, porridge, etc.).

6. In addition to just toasts with blue cheese butter, I suggest making interesting bruschettas... I'll post the recipes on the site next!
