This dish can be both a main course and an appetizer. It is Lent now, so I dare to offer you a Lenten option. To prepare the roll, we will need fresh champignons, onions, carrots, starch, sunflower oil, a little semolina and salt to taste.
Potato roll with mushrooms

Potatoes - 1 kg;
Starch - 3 tbsp;
Onions - 2 pcs;
Carrots - 1 pc;
Champignons - 250 grams;
Semolina - 1 tbsp;
Salt - to taste;
Sunflower oil - for greasing and frying;
Aromatic herbs - to taste.

1. Grate carrots, dice mushrooms and onions. Fry onions in sunflower oil, add carrots and mushrooms.
2. Then add semolina and stir. Semolina will help the filling stick to the roll better.
3. Boil potatoes, mash them with a masher and add starch, stir.
4. Line a baking sheet with parchment and lay out the potato dough about 1 cm thick
5. Put the filling on top.
6. Roll up the roll using parchment. Try to do these manipulations while the dough is warm, otherwise it starts to break.
7. Grease the top of the roll with sunflower oil, sprinkle with herbs. Bake at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into portions.
