Cocoa with egg yolk

A recipe for a popular cocoa drink, this time with egg yolk.

Sometimes, an additional yolk is added to cocoa with milk. This increases the nutritional value and softens the consistency of the finished drink. Usually, one egg yolk is taken for 200-400 ml of milk.

The concentration of cocoa powder and the amount of granulated sugar can be easily adjusted to your own taste. The main thing is that a high-quality product (cocoa powder) gives the drink a rich chocolate flavor.

Ингредиенты

Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp

Milk - 400 ml

Sugar - 2 tsp

Egg (yolk) - 1 pc.

Рецепт

1. Shake cocoa powder in about 100 ml of milk, remove all lumps.

2. Add the rest of the milk, beat until light foam and smooth. Place on top heat and boil while stirring.

3. At the same time, separate the yolk from the white.

4. Pour in granulated sugar and grind with a whisk or fork.

5. The drink needs a whitened, smooth composition.

6. Add sweetened ground egg yolk to the boiled cocoa. Return to the heat.

7. Continuously beat/stir and bring to a boil again. Immediately remove from heat.

8. Serve the cocoa with egg yolk warm or cooled.
