Homemade processed cheese with mushrooms

Could you imagine that processed cheese can be made at home? And so delicious! If you compare it with store-bought, it can't be compared to it! Plastic, creamy, incredibly delicious cheese! I highly recommend making it! Especially since it won't take much time.

Ингредиенты

Soft cottage cheese - 250 g

Butter - 100 g

Salt - 0.5 tsp

Soda - 0.5 tsp

Egg - 1 pc

Mushrooms (champignons) - 200 g

Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.

1. Blend well until creamy.

2. Place the bowl with the mixture in a water bath. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly.

3. You will get a stretchy plastic mass.

4. Cut the mushrooms and fry in vegetable oil, adding a little salt.

5. Stir the mushrooms into the cheese mass. Stir occasionally until the cheese has cooled completely.

6. Voila! The processed cheese is ready!

Advice: Has the cheese not thickened or is it more like cottage cheese than a plastic mass? No problem! This is due to a lack of soda. Each cottage cheese has its own acidity level, so different cottage cheeses will require different amounts of soda to balance the pH level. But add it carefully. You may need just a small pinch more. Be careful, because otherwise you will feel it in the finished product. And melt the cheese to the desired consistency.
