Recipe for chicken fillet with mushrooms and cheese

It is valued for its affordable price, ease of preparation, pleasant unobtrusive taste that goes well with most basic products. White poultry meat is considered especially healthy. It is rich in protein and contains a minimum amount of fat. That is why chicken breast is always present in the diet of people who adhere to healthy eating. But it is also suitable for a regular daily menu. You can make a lot of different dishes from tender chicken fillet. For example, it can be baked with cheese and mushrooms.

chicken fillet 600 g

mayonnaise 50 g

ground red paprika 1 tsp

champignons 12 pcs.

onions 1 ½ pcs.

cheese 120 g

vegetable oil 35 ml

salt to taste

chicken seasoning to taste

pepper to taste

parsley greens to taste

1. Cut the chilled chicken fillet into slices up to 1.5 cm thick. Beat them lightly with a special hammer. To avoid damaging the delicate fibers, cover each piece with cling film.

2. Rub the chicken with seasoning, add paprika and pepper. Leave for 20 minutes to marinate.

3. Spray a preheated frying pan with sunflower oil. Put chopped onion and thinly sliced ​​mushrooms in it. Fry until done, add salt at the end.

4. Cover the baking sheet with foil. Apply a little oil to it with a culinary brush so that the bird does not stick during baking. Place the fillet. Season each piece with mayonnaise on top. If desired, the mayonnaise in the recipe can be replaced with sour cream.

5. Place the mushrooms and onions on the fillet. The final layer will be finely grated cheese.

6. Preheat the oven to 180–195°C, put the baking tray with meat in it. Bake it for no more than half an hour. Before serving, garnish the dish with sprigs of fresh parsley or any other greens.
