Pasta chips

A recipe for an unusual snack - crispy pasta chips.

Pasta - 200 g

Flour - 3 tbsp

Ground turmeric - 1/2 tsp

Salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Vegetable oil (for frying) - 300 ml

1. Pour about 1-2 liters of water into a saucepan or sauté pan, add 1-2 pinches of salt, stir, set to maximum heat and bring to a boil. Pour in the pasta, stir, reduce heat to medium and cook the pasta for about 6-7 minutes, until soft. Then drain the water and cool the boiled pasta.

2. Transfer the pasta to a deep bowl and add flour.

3. Mix well so that each piece of pasta is coated with flour.

4. Heat vegetable oil in a small frying pan over medium heat. Place some pasta in boiling oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.

5. Place the fried pasta on a paper napkin to absorb excess oil. Fry the remaining pasta in the same way.

6. Transfer the pasta to a plate, add turmeric, salt, pepper and stir.

7. The unusual pasta chips are ready. Serve them, adding ketchup if desired.
