Today we will talk about rolls and try to cook one of the variations at home - baked rolls with crab sticks. According to the traditions of Japanese cuisine, rolls are considered to be sushi rolls twisted with a bamboo mat.
The Japanese always use seafood as a filling. The base is round-grain rice, cooked and soaked according to a special recipe. Rice with filling is carefully rolled into sheets of pressed seaweed nori. Most often, classic Japanese rolls are fish, rice and nori, or some other vegetable or fruit that goes well with seafood.
Baked rolls are more of a European version of signature rolls. It is believed that after heat treatment, the roll becomes safer if it contains lightly salted fish.
Our rolls with crab sticks are safe even when fresh, but when baked, they are simply magnificent. Suitable as a snack for lovers of spicy dishes. The composition includes aromatic spicy sauce. Take the main ingredients from the list.

Рецепт
1. You need to cook the rice for sushi in advance.
2. I cook rice in a multicooker in a similar way. I pour 200 g of round grain rice, washed until transparent, with water two fingers up. Cook in the "rice" mode for 20 minutes. Then I switch the multicooker to the "keep warm" mode for another 10 minutes. I put the hot rice in a bowl. I sprinkle with a dressing of boiled rice vinegar with salt and sugar. I quickly stir with a wooden spatula.
3. I cool it and evenly spread it in a thin layer on a sheet of nori. To prevent the rice from sticking to your hands, use gloves or spread the rice with wet hands. The nori sheet should be placed on the mat with the shiny side down. Leave the edge of the nori without rice. Before rolling it up, wet it with water to glue the roll together.
4. Approximately in the center of the nori sheet, spread the cream cheese and crab sticks. You can put the cheese with a teaspoon, and the sticks or crab meat must first be cut into strips.
5. Peel the avocado in advance. Cut into slices. Send on top of the cream cheese.
6. Grasp the bottom edge of the mat and roll the roll. Give it a round shape.
7. Cut the roll into rolls. Before cutting, wet the knife with water.
8. You can try rolls with crab sticks, but since we decided to cook the baked version, we will continue cooking. Add spicy sauce to the rolls.
9. Carefully transfer the rolls to a sheet of foil moistened with water. Add grated cheese to the spicy sauce. You can bake rolls with crab sticks without hot sauce, but simply under a cheese cap. Send the rolls to the very top of a well-heated oven for a few minutes.
10. The cheese has melted. Baked rolls with crab sticks under spicy sauce are ready! Try them warm with ginger and soy sauce. If desired, decorate the cheese cap with sesame seeds.
