Beef steak (tenderloin) - 1.3 kg
Medium carrots (cut diagonally into 5 cm long pieces) - 6 pcs.
Onions (chopped) - 1 cup
Dry red wine or beef broth - 0.75 cups
Tomato paste - 0.25 cups
Quick tapioca - 4 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp.
Ground chili pepper - 1 tsp.
Ground garlic - 0.5 tsp.
Hot mashed potatoes (as a side dish) (optional)

1. Cut the beef steak into several pieces.
2. Place the carrots and onions in a large slow cooker bowl, and top with the beef pieces. In a separate bowl, combine the wine, tomato paste, tapioca, Worcestershire sauce, chili, garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker bowl, cover, and cook on low for 9-11 hours.
3. Remove the meat from the slow cooker. Remove the vegetables with a slotted spoon.
4. Serve the meat with vegetables and garnish immediately, drizzling with the sauce from the slow cooker.
