1. Prepare the ingredients for oatmeal. Rinse the flakes with water. Cut the fruit into pieces, wash the berries, chop the nuts. Tip: if you don't have time to cook oatmeal, you can use instant oatmeal instead of Hercules. Just pour hot water over the oatmeal for 5 minutes.

2. Cook the porridge. Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add salt to taste. Pour the flakes into the saucepan. Stir. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. When the oatmeal starts to "puff", pour in the milk and bring to a boil. Stir, close the lid, reduce the heat, and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove the oatmeal from the heat, add sugar. Let the porridge sit for 3-5 minutes.

3. Place the oatmeal on a plate or in a bowl. Add butter, pieces of fruit or berries, sprinkle with nut crumbs.

Tip: To make oatmeal healthy, do not refuse to use milk. Vitamin E, which oats are rich in, is fat-soluble and for its absorption, fats must be present in the porridge. To reduce the calorie content of the dish, you can take milk with a low fat content.
