Orange Espresso Tonic

An original drink made from a minimum of very simple ingredients - orange espresso tonic.

The invigorating aroma of citrus and aromatic strong coffee are already an ideal combination, and the pleasant bitter taste of tonic complements it perfectly. A great start to the day or a simple cocktail for special occasions!

Ингредиенты

Coffee - 4-5 teaspoons (15-16 g)

Orange juice - 125 ml

Tonic - 125 ml

For serving:

Ice - 10-12 cubes

Lemon - 3-4 slices

1. Prepare the ingredients according to the list. If desired, you can squeeze the juice out of the orange right before cooking - just roll the orange on the table with pressure, cut it in half and squeeze the orange juice out of the halves by hand.

2. First, brew strong coffee. Pour 60 ml of water into a small saucepan or Turk and add coffee. Put on maximum heat and, stirring, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and, stirring, boil the coffee for about 30-40 seconds. Then turn off the heat and let the coffee brew for about 1 minute.

3. Fill a tall serving glass with ice.

4. Pour tonic and orange juice into the glass.

5. Carefully pour in a thin stream of coffee. Be careful, the drink may "fizz" and foam.

6. Garnish the espresso tonic with lemon slices and mint or basil leaves and serve.
