Everyone knows the Twix chocolate bar, and this recipe is its homemade version. If you use real condensed milk, the cookies will be incredibly delicious!
Please note that you need to buy real condensed milk, not a dairy product with milk and sugar. Also, for an even topping, it is better to take real chocolate.
You need to take a mold in which you will make the cookies until the very end - bake the base, pour in the nougat, freeze it in the freezer and finally cut it into pieces.

Base:
Flour - 1 cup
Butter - 120 g
Sugar - 4 tbsp
Nougat:
Condensed milk (good condensed milk) - 1 can (380 g)
Sugar (for thickening) - 4 tbsp
Butter - 45 g
Nuts - to taste

Chocolate (good) - 2 bars (based on 1 bar - 95 g)
Butter - 30 g

1. To bake the base: mix flour and butter in a bowl, rub; add sugar and knead the dough.
Place on the bottom of the pan, bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown. Take out, let cool.
2. Nougat. In a saucepan, mix condensed milk (I repeat, it is better to take real condensed milk, not a dairy product), butter and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low. Stir constantly. Bring to thickening, remove from heat.
3. Spread in an even layer on the base. If the nougat is very liquid, you can wait 5 minutes until it cools, then put it in.
4. Put in the nuts, you can press them in slightly. Put in the cold (in the freezer) so that it hardens a little. 5. When the nougat has already set, make the chocolate glaze: melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath.
6. Pour an even layer over the already set nougat.
7. Put the cookies in the refrigerator. Once everything has set, cut into cookies. Enjoy your tea, sweet tooth!
