This wild rice salad is easy to make and tastes great. You can use both turkey and chicken. You can serve it just like that, with greens or in pita bread; it's very versatile. If in season, try replacing the grapes with cherries.

1 pack of wild rice
¾ cup light mayonnaise
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon white sugar
salt and pepper for taste
2 cups cooked, diced turkey meat
¼ cup diced green onions
1 cup seedless red grapes
170 grams blanched chopped almonds

Boil rice according to package instructions. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Mix together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Add rice, turkey, onion and grapes until evenly coated with dressing. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Sprinkle the salad with almond flakes before serving.
