Layered pie with cottage cheese, spinach and feta cheese

Yeast-free puff pastry - 500 g

Feta cheese - 400 g

Cottage cheese - 200 g

Spinach - 150 g

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Butter (for greasing the pan and the top of the pie) - 25 g

Flour - for working with the dough

Dried Italian herbs (or other seasonings) - 2-3 g

Ground black pepper - 2-3 g

Salt - 2-3 g

1. Cut the feta cheese into large pieces (you can break it).

2. Wash the spinach and pour boiling water over it. Leave it for a minute. Then pour ice water over it.

3.. Tear the spinach into large pieces or chop it. Combine the cottage cheese, eggs, feta cheese and spinach in a deep container.

4. Blend the mixture - you don't have to bring it to homogeneity, this way the texture of the filling will be more interesting. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

5. Add your favorite seasonings - we used ground black pepper and Italian herbs.

6. Blend the mixture. Grease the baking pan with 15 g of butter (the size of our pan is 21x21 cm).

7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle the size of two pans with some extra space for the sides.

Place half of the dough in a greased pan and smooth it out (the top of the pan walls will match the edges of the dough on three sides, and the second half of the dough will be thrown over the fourth side).

8. Place the filling inside the pan with the dough, smooth the surface.

9. Cover the pie with the empty part of the dough. Pinch the edges of the dough.

10. Prick the top of the pie with a fork and grease with the remaining melted butter.

11. Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
