Baked Banana Chips: Healthy Snack

Easy and delicious banana chips.

If you are tired of regular chips, you can cook homemade baked banana chips, the main thing is to choose ripe and large fruits.

If your bananas are too ripe, they will be harder to slice. Cut into 1/4 centimeter slices if using metric units. If the bananas are not crispy after 5 minutes of cooling, return them for another 15 minutes.

2 freshly ripened bananas, sliced

1 teaspoon lemon juice or to taste

Preheat oven to 110 degrees C.

Arrange the banana slices on the prepared baking sheet, making sure the slices are not touching. Brush with lemon juice.

Bake in preheated oven for 90 minutes. Check the bananas by lifting the slices up to separate them from the paper once or twice. Continue baking until the bananas are dry, 30 to 90 more minutes.

Let bananas cool until crispy, at least 5 minutes.
