Jellied pie with berries

Today we will be clearing out the freezer stock and making a berry pie.

In season, this pie can be made from fresh berries, but since there are none now, we will use frozen ones. I had a little more than a glass of cherries, and the rest was black currants, cranberries and raspberries. The pie is based on cottage cheese dough, and the filling is made from sour cream and eggs. The pie turns out very tasty. The sweet base goes well with the sour berries. This pie is perfect for a cozy family tea party.

Ингредиенты

For the dough:

Butter - 120 g

Sugar - 100 g

Cottage cheese - 75 g

Egg - 1 pc.

Salt - a pinch

Wheat flour - 270 g

For the filling:

Sour cream - 200 g

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Wheat flour - 2 tbsp.

Sugar - 50 g

Berries - 2 cups

1. Place soft butter and sugar in a bowl. Mix well with a fork

2. Add soft cottage cheese to the butter mixture and mix again.

3. Next, beat in the egg and add salt.

4. Sift flour into a bowl.

5. Knead the soft dough, roll into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, prepare the filling: beat the eggs with sugar, add flour and sour cream. Beat the mixture thoroughly with a whisk until smooth. If you like it sweet, you can increase the amount of sugar in the filling.

7. Line a baking dish with parchment, place the dough in the center and flatten it into a flat cake with your hands. Then, gently pressing the dough, make sides. Place the berries in the dough basket without defrosting.

8. Pour the prepared sour cream filling over the berries.

9. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and bake the berry pie for 1 hour. The top of the pie should be golden brown. Cool the pie completely, then remove from the pan. 10. Transfer the pie to a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into portions and serve. Very tasty! Enjoy!
