Omelette with zucchini in a jar

The simplest and most delicious breakfast for the whole family is a fluffy omelette with zucchini in a jar. The technology is simple and does not require special skills.

The omelette turns out airy and very tasty; it is perfect as a dietary dish, for a children's menu. Prepare all the ingredients.

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Zucchini - 20 g

Milk (2.5% fat) - 50 ml

Butter (for preparing the jar) - 10 g

Salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

1. Take a young zucchini with tender skin and underdeveloped seeds. It is advisable to cut off the skin of a more mature zucchini and remove the core with hard seeds.

Any fat content of milk will do.

2. Break the eggs into a deep bowl. Pour in the milk.

3. Beat with a whisk or mixer until bubbles appear on the surface.

4. Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater, add to the egg mixture.

5. Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper.

6. Grease the inside of the jar (I have a capacity of 330 g) with butter.

7. Pour the egg and zucchini mixture into the jar. I have a little more than half of the jar.

8. Cover the saucepan with a cloth napkin and place the jar with the omelette mixture in it. Pour warm water into the pan so that its level is slightly higher than the omelet mixture in the jar.

9. Put the pan on the fire and bring the water to a boil. Make the fire low, cover the pan with a lid and cook the steamed zucchini omelet for 20-25 minutes, until done.

10. The zucchini omelet in the jar is ready. Serve the omelet immediately, you can serve it right in the jar.

11. Or carefully place the omelet on a plate, and then serve. Fresh vegetables or herbs are a great addition to the omelet. Enjoy!
