Potato and sour cream buns with herbs

When there is no time to mess around with yeast dough, this is the best! Delicious buns, the filling recipe of which includes sour cream, herbs and garlic, are a great substitute for pampushki for borscht, as well as for broth and soup, and just to eat. They fly away like seeds.

For the dough:

300 g flour

1 yolk

35 g mashed potato powder

300 g low-fat sour cream (15%)

1 packet of baking powder (18 g)

1/2 tsp salt

For the filling:

1 large bunch of herbs (parsley or dill and green onions)

2 tbsp sour cream

2-3 cloves of garlic

1 tsp ground paprika (use chili if desired)

1 pinch of salt

1 tsp vegetable oil

1. Recipe for bun dough: combine flour, salt, baking powder and mashed potato powder.

2. Add sour cream and yolk.

3. Knead elastic dough (it should not stick to your hands). If the dough is not thick enough, you can add a little flour. Leave the dough for 15 minutes in a cool place.

4. Then divide the dough in half. Roll each part into a rectangle about 0.5 cm thick.

5. Add salt and grated garlic to the sour cream. Finely chop the herbs.

6. Grease the dough with a thin layer of sour cream with garlic, sprinkle with herbs and pepper (you can mix pepper with garlic sour cream).

7. Roll the dough with the filling into a roll (not very tightly) and cut each roll into 8 buns.

8. Make a shallow longitudinal groove on each bun with the back of a knife.

9. Lightly grease the buns with vegetable oil, place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the buns for 20-25 minutes.
