Hibiscus tea jelly

In less than half an hour, you will have bright and delicate sweet and sour jelly on your table. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Ингредиенты

Hibiscus (dried hibiscus flowers) - 10 g

Sugar - 80 g

Corn starch - 30 g

Water - 1 l + 50 ml

1. In a saucepan, combine cold water (1 liter) and dried hibiscus flowers and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Remove the hibiscus flowers from the pan (strain the broth and return to the pan).

2. Add sugar to hibiscus tea, place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Boil for 1-2 minutes until the sugar dissolves.

3. Meanwhile, combine cornstarch with 50 ml of cold water in a small container, stir until smooth. While stirring hibiscus tea, pour the starch solution into the pan and bring to a boil. Next, cook the jelly over low heat, stirring, for 2 minutes.

4. Hibiscus jelly is ready. It can be served immediately or cold.
