1. Prepare peanuts and water. Use raw peanuts, you can take shelled or peeled ones. Rinse the peanuts under running water.
2. Place peanuts in a jar with a lid, add 100 ml of water and soak for 7-8 hours at room temperature.
3. The nuts will absorb some of the water, turn white and become heavier. Drain the water and rinse the nuts again under running water.
4. Place the peanuts in a blender bowl.
5. Pour 400 ml of drinking water over the nuts. I use regular filtered water.
6. Grind the mixture at high speed with a blender for about 1.5-2 minutes until smooth.
7. Place a colander or fine sieve on a wide bowl and cover it with a double layer of gauze. Pour the contents of the blender bowl into a bowl lined with cheesecloth.
8. Gather the cheesecloth at the ends and squeeze out the nut cake, squeezing out any remaining milk.
9. Make 450 ml of nut milk. The cake can be used to make pies or bread - just add chopped nuts to the dough.
10. Pour the milk into a jar with a lid and refrigerate before use.
11. Lean nut milk is ready. You can drink it, use it as a base for making baked goods, creams, desserts, cook porridge with it and add it to coffee.
12. Peanut milk cannot be distinguished from ordinary cow's milk in appearance! Try cooking!
