Salad with watermelon, soft cheese and arugula

An unusual salad with an interesting combination of products.

I found a salad with watermelon, soft cheese and arugula on the pages of a foreign culinary magazine and have long wanted to cook it. Today it finally worked. The salad has a very unusual taste, but if you like fusion combinations, then you should like this dish too. The only thing is that I would add a few slices of Parma ham, it really begs to be here, a little lemon juice and, perhaps, some raw watermelon.

Prepare the products according to the list. Peel the onion, wash it along with the watermelon and herbs, dry with paper towels.

Watermelon - 150 g

Philadelphia cheese - 50 g

Arugula - 30 g

Lettuce - 30 g

Sweet onion - 20 g

Mint leaves - 10 pcs.

Olive oil - 1 tbsp.

1. Heat a grill pan, place the watermelon cut into slices into it, quickly fry for a couple of seconds on each side. Don't keep it for too long; over-grilled watermelon tastes like sweet zucchini.

2. Tear the lettuce with your hands and place on a plate.

3. Sprinkle arugula leaves on top of the salad.

4. Next, add grilled watermelon and sweet salad onions cut into rings.

5. Place pieces of soft cheese, mint, and a couple of arugula sprigs on the watermelon. Lightly pepper the salad, add a drop of salt, sprinkle with olive oil, and, as I wrote above, pour in lemon juice.
