Croissant (fr. croissant “crescent”) is a small bun made of puff pastry in the shape of a crescent. Baking is prepared in several stages. First, combine all the necessary ingredients until a homogeneous mass is obtained, then butter or margarine is mixed into it, and the products are given a crescent shape. After this, defrost and bake. The fat content of the butter used for the dough must exceed 80%.

puff pastry without yeast - 1 package;
large apples - 2–3 pcs.;
sugar - 5-6 tbsp. l.;
cinnamon - 2-3 tsp;
hard cheese - 200 g.

1. Dust the table with flour, place a sheet of puff pastry on it, roll it out a little (the thickness should be about 3 mm) and cut it into long strips the width of your palm. Then cut them into triangles.
2. We give two options for filling: for the first, peel the apples and cut them into thin slices, sprinkle with cinnamon and stir. For the second option, cut the cheese into cubes. You can put a whole slice of cheese inside the croissant, not a very thick block, 20-30 grams.
3. Place filling on the base of each triangle and roll them into rolls. Press down the edges well so that the filling does not escape. Brush the surface with beaten egg. Turn on and preheat the oven well to 220°C. Place the croissants on a greased baking tray or baking paper. Bake for 15–25 minutes.
