What to cook from pumpkin: top interesting recipes

Pumpkin pulp can be an excellent base for hot dishes and drinks.

If you have a pumpkin in your refrigerator and you cannot find a use for it, consider any of the suggested recipes:

Bouillon

It is better to store pumpkin in the vegetable section, putting it in a bag along with the remains of carrots, herbs and other things from which you plan to make broth. Thanks to the pumpkin, it will turn out especially tender and fragrant. It can be eaten on its own or used as a base for a meat/fish stew.

Juice

Pumpkin can be used to make a delicious refreshing drink. Put the pulp with seeds in a bowl, pour boiling water over it to soften the pumpkin. Then mash it with a fork and strain. The resulting juice can be drunk both warm and with ice.

Latte

To prepare pumpkin latte, you need 2 tbsp. pumpkin puree, the same amount of sugar, the same amount of vanilla extract, half a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, a quarter cup of pastry cream, two cups of milk, half a cup of strong coffee, ground black pepper to taste.

Cook pumpkin puree, spices and pepper for two minutes over medium heat. Add sugar and mix - you should get a thick syrup. Add milk and vanilla, stirring often, not allowing the mixture to boil. Punch the mixture with a blender - it should foam. Next, pour coffee into a cup, and on top - our pumpkin-milk mixture. Decorate with whipped cream.

Bars

To prepare vitamin bars, take a quarter cup of brown sugar and twice as much granulated, in equal proportions (a quarter of a teaspoon) cloves, cardamom, ginger and salt, a teaspoon of cinnamon and 450 g pumpkin puree.

Preheat the oven to 220°C. In a bowl, beat the eggs, in another bowl, beat the sugar, salt and spices. We connect everything. Add pumpkin puree and condensed milk, mix until smooth. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180 and bake for another 25 minutes. Let cool and cut into strips.
